I studied visual communication or related subject for nearly 6 years and I have been trained for another 10 years in the creative/art/photography industry. Lately I have been hearing gossips or blah blah blah from those who aren’t even my clients, or they inquire just to check out my rate card, they want to know how I photograph, how I set up the lighting, how I handle cats & dogs etc. To be honest, I don’t mind to let you know where I place the flashlights, but that doesn’t mean you can take the same photos as I do, because you don’t know my camera setting, the power of my lights.
Am I overpriced? That’s exactly the story of 🥃whisky, there are different kind of whisky, different origins different aging different grains, just buy whatever you can afford or feel good with, it’s very personal, you wouldn’t walk into Chanel and say “Theirs bags are overpriced, ZARA are selling at much lower rates.” We invested a lot of time and energy into our backdrops, we didn’t just buy them from somewhere, we actually made them. If you think that I’m overrated or overpriced, go ahead for other studio which I really don’t mind, I want my clients to sync with me and really appreciate my works, that’s what I appreciate most too.
So drop it and stop the 💩, focus on your own work and start to learn how to improve yourself instead of ignoring others’ hard work.
It was a long way and I worked 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 to come to the current stage and this is just the beginning. 💪🏻
